Emerging Growth Enterprise

EMERGING GROWTH is a botique consulting firm with deep experience in taking early stage technologies through the entrepreneurial challenges along the path from pre-commercialization through the emerging growth stage.

The partners each have 20+ years of hand-on experience from leading various startups, as well as past careers in some of the largest multinational corporations. After 10 years of working with emerging companies in various supportive roles, as mentors, as advisors, and as executive members of early stage management teams, we still know that entrepreneurial drive and perseverence is as important as any past experience, especially when it comes to the true success factors of entrepreneurship.

What We Do

EMERGING GROWTH works primarily with institutions. We help SBIR funded companies through the government agency funded Commercialization Assistance Programs (CAP). We help Federal Labs commercialize their IP portfolios (FLC). We support University Technology Transfer Offices and Venture Capitalist Firms finding a path to market for their portfolio technologies. And every now and then, we work directly with exceptional entrepreneurs to grow their privately held emerging companies.

Some examples of what we do:

Business strategy mentoring of small business leaders and key executives.

Partnership strategies and implementation.

Overcoming key issues, e.g. finding a beta customer or overcoming regulatory challenges.

Preparation of a growth plan, business plan, or financial plan.

IP portfolio review and commercialization.

Mentoring and sparring on key business and stategy issues.
